CHEC Invites Don Hart to Speak at Super Conference
Christian Home Educators of Colorado (CHEC) has invited Don Hart to deliver two messages at its upcoming Rocky Mountain Super Conference on the Family. Other speakers include R.C. Sproul, Jr. and Doug Phillips, who are the featured speakers, along with Kevin Swanson and others. Heritage Defense will also be hosting an informational booth in the vendor hall. The conference will be held at the Denver Merchandise Mart on June 16-18, 2011.
Mr. Hart will deliver his first message on Friday, June 17th at 10:30 AM:
Defending Your Heritage: A Biblical Perspective on the Dangers Threatening Your Family
Tribulations are promised. The biblical family is under attack, and we must respond properly. Christian zeal is chilled whenever a family is persecuted or intimidated for honoring God. Labeling biblical obedience as “criminal” slanders the Gospel. Don Hart relates war stories of families he has defended against unjust social services investigations and how these examples provide lessons to others.
Mr. Hart will deliver his second message on Saturday, June 18th at 2:15 PM:
The Church and the Family: Guardians of Religious Liberty
God’s Word describes the Church as the “pillar and ground of the truth,” yet many churches forsake this call. How can churches prepare members to stand on their convictions and render to Caesar only those things which belong to Caesar? How can churches be ready and prepare their flocks for persecutions from lawsuits and criminal prosecutions? Can churches help members conscientiously object to forced vaccinations, mandatory health insurance, women in the military, and other offensive government edicts? Don Hart addresses these issues and more.
