Politicians and bureaucrats across the country are getting ready right now to push a new vaccine on children, even when parents object. This could result in a tidal wave of attacks upon many homeschoolers across the country.
Please watch our FREE webinar and Q&A with Heritage Defense attorney Bradley Pierce to learn more about how you can be prepared to protect your parental rights.
At Heritage Defense, we support vaccine freedom–the right of parents to make informed, voluntary immunization decisions for their children. Our attorneys have been fighting for this and other parental rights for over ten years and we want to use our experience to inform and educate families about this growing threat and what you can do about it.
Now is the time to get ready for this approaching fight for our freedoms.
We invite you to learn what you can be doing to prepare by watching our free webinar and Q&A with Heritage Defense Vice President and General Counsel, Bradley Pierce.
Regarding a COVID-19 vaccine, we have received many inquiries at Heritage Defense about what our response would be if such a vaccine became legally mandated for all children. The answer is simple. At Heritage Defense, we support vaccine freedom–the right of parents to make informed, voluntary immunization decisions for their children. If member families were ever reported to child protective services for refusing a COVID-19 vaccine, Heritage Defense would continue to do what we have been doing since 2010 and fight for the parental rights of our members.
Like many of you, we expect this newest fight to be big. Based upon the response we have seen thus far to COVID-19, the threat is very real that governors, local officials, legislators, judges, and child protective services agencies in every state could soon be attempting to force parents to vaccinate their children even contrary to the rights and convictions of the family. Among many others, doctors in major media outlets and at least one state’s attorney bar association are already calling for making a COVID-19 vaccine mandatory for every child without a medical exemption, regardless of religious or personal objections. This could result in a tidal wave of attacks upon many homeschooling families across the country.
That wave is not here yet, but now is the time to prepare for it. Our resources are not unlimited, and if we are to overcome it, we must stand together, and the more of us standing together the stronger we will be.
If you are not already a member of Heritage Defense and you have minor children, now is the time for homeschooling families across the country to join to stand united with us.
If you are a member who wants to give above and beyond your membership, or if you are someone who just wants to do what you can to help, you can support us in this fight by donating today.
To our members, know that we are ready to do everything our resources will practically allow to legally defend your parental rights. Please be praying that God would provide more members, more donors, and all the resources we will need to effectively fight these battles.
Of course, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. The legal battles are coming, but most of them will be preceded by legislative and political battles. To prepare for all of them, we are currently working to partner with other parental rights and vaccine freedom organizations, activists, and attorneys to form a coalition to fight against the imposition of COVID-19 vaccine mandates legislatively, politically, and in the courts.
In addition to joining and supporting Heritage Defense, we are also encouraging families to do three things:
Please watch our webinar and Q&A to find out more.
Brothers and sisters in Christ, our trust is in the Lord. He has called us to prepare the horse for the day of battle—and we are working to do that—but we are grateful that deliverance is from Him.
Please watch the webinar and be steadfast in prayer.

Heritage Defense has been an incredible blessing to our family. In the midst of a challenging ordeal with CPS, Heritage Defense served as a God-honoring voice of reason, wisdom, and encouragement. Each time we called, whether during the day or after-hours, we immediately spoke with an attorney who shared care and compassion toward our situation. Our attorney at Heritage Defense helped us to understand our rights, and most importantly helped to protect our children from the undue duress of the false accusations that came upon our family. He followed up and interacted with CPS as promised each step of the way. The ultimate result was very positive for our family. We praise God for the counsel and action of Heritage Defense. If you are not a part of Heritage Defense, I highly recommend that you join.
When a parent has a sick child nothing is more important than getting the best possible care. I assumed we and the hospital had the same goal for our daughter, but when it became apparent that they considered us an impediment, Heritage Defense... was a steady guide through a stressful time.
When I consider the question 'Is there a better way that I could spend what I spent for my membership dues right now?', the answer quickly comes when I remember the stress that our family was under and the relief that came in the form of the Heritage Defense attorney and his diligence in handling our case. Knowing that my membership contribution is not only protection for my family, but is helping meet the needs of other families, going through what we did not so long ago, is a comforting thought.

No. We are extremely grateful for the heroic work of HSLDA and others in securing and safeguarding the right to homeschool and helping families navigate the homeschooling process. However, for child protective services (CPS) matters related to medical decisions, child discipline, and other non-homeschooling issues, HSLDA does not commit to assisting beyond initial contacts with CPS. Heritage Defense covers even non-homeschooling CPS matters for the whole case, including representation in court.
