Help the Romeike family

Many homeschool families may remember the Romeikes, the German family who fled to the U.S. in 2008 so they could homeschool free from government persecution.

Although they were not granted asylum here, they have been living in the U.S. under an “indefinitely deferred action status” since 2013…until recently.

Last month, the Office of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) informed the Romeikes that they will be deported and has given them 4 weeks to prepare their passports.

The Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) has started a petition asking that the Romeikes’ status be reinstated to stay in the U.S. so they can continue to homeschool their minor children.

Please sign the petition to stand with this fellow homeschool family.

We have you covered. Join our mailing list and we will send you any relevant information pertaining to your state, as well as up to date news as it happens.

Please re-word. A poet-laureate I am not.
